Aberdeen Gardens Heritage Day

Step into history at the Annual Heritage Day hosted by the Aberdeen Gardens Historic & Civic Association! This family-friendly event celebrates the rich legacy of Aberdeen Gardens, a nationally recognized historic district in Hampton built “by Blacks, for Blacks” during the New Deal era.

Enjoy guided history tours, hear the stories of past and present residents, and experience the vibrant culture that makes this neighborhood unique.

There will be free hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, ice cream, and beverages (while supplies last), plus fun for all ages. It’s a great way to learn, connect, and honor the enduring spirit of the community.
