Hampton Cup Regatta

The East Coast’s Premier Inboard Hydroplane Race. Held annually in Hampton, VA, in Mill Creek between Phoebus and Fort Monroe. Scaring fish out of the water since 1926!

The regatta returns to Fort Monroe September 4–6, bringing three days of hydroplane racing, live music, a car show, food, and family-friendly fun to the waterfront. Admission is FREE all weekend!

Please note: The final race schedule will be announced each morning and is subject to change based on tide and weather conditions.

Parking: Public parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis on city streets around Phoebus, with additional parking expected on the Fort Monroe side of the Mercury Blvd. Bridge. Attendees may enter the spectator area at the Mercury Blvd./Willard Street intersection on the Phoebus side or at the Mercury Blvd./Stillwell Rd. intersection on the Fort Monroe side.
