DESCRIPTION:\nHampton invites residents and friends to join us in celebrati
 ng our fifth All-America City honor on Sunday\, Aug. 31\, at Mill Point Pa
 rk.\n\nThe free event will be an expanded version of the Groovin’ by the
  Bay concert that was already scheduled for that day. The celebration will
  begin at 4 p.m. and go until 8\, with music by The Gentlemen and Their La
 dy. To mark Hampton’s designation as an All-America City\, there will be
  presentations\, giveaways\, additional vendors and family-friendly activi
 ties.\n\nOn June 30\, Hampton was one of 10 municipalities to earn the tit
 le of All-America City from the National Civic League. Hampton has previou
 sly been chosen as an All-America City in 1972\, 2002\, 2014 and 2023.\n\n

 nday evenings will be rockin' in Downtown Hampton this summer with a music
 al mix including Motown\, oldies\, swing and beach rock. Listen and Dance 
 while enjoying the music along the water at Mill Point Park.\n\nGuests are
  encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets (along with their dancing sh
 oes). Each week will also host one to two food vendors ($) on site. Althou
 gh pets are allowed in the park\, for their comfort and safety we recommen
 d they be left at home.\n\nPARKING: Free parking is available in the Hampt
 on University garage next to Mill Point Park\, and in any legal\, on-stree
